Role Overview:

We are seeking an experienced UI Developer to join our close-knit but remote-first team and help us build the best user experiences on mobile and web for our new cutting-edge SaaS platform. You will work closely with our design team to translate designs from Figma into clean, responsive, and performant user interfaces using Next.js, JavaScript, and the latest web technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with designers to implement visually stunning, accessible, and user-friendly interfaces 
  • Develop reusable components and UI patterns using Next.js, React, and modern JavaScript 
  • Leverage animation frameworks like GSAP, Framer and Barba to create delightful and seamless user experiences 
  • Optimise performance and ensure cross-browser/device compatibility 
  • Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code 
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to the continuous improvement of our codebase 
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest front-end technologies and best practices 

Preferred Skills & Experience

  • 3+ years of experience building UI/UX for web applications using Next.js and JavaScript 
  • Strong proficiency in React, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript 
  • Familiarity with responsive design and mobile-first development 
  • Passion for creating intuitive and visually appealing user experiences 
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, agile environment 
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail 
  • Portfolio showcasing impressive UI/UX work 
  • Experience with animation frameworks such as GSAP, Framer, or Barba 
  • Knowledge of Tailwind CSS or other CSS-in-JS solutions 
  • Experience with state management libraries like Redux or MobX 
  • Understanding of web accessibility standards and best practices 
  • Familiarity with Node.js, Postgres, and analytics platforms such as Tableau
