As the Head of Reseller, you will play a pivotal role in driving revenue growth and profitability through the strategic development and execution of the resell business within our IT service integrator organization. This leadership position demands a results-oriented professional with strong vendor relationship management, market insight, and team leadership skills. You will oversee the procurement, pricing, and sales strategies for IT hardware, software, and services to ensure our organization remains competitive and aligned with client needs and industry trends.

 

Hybrid working: The places that you work from day to day will vary according to your role, your needs, and those of the business; it will be a blend of Company offices, client sites, and your home; noting that you will be unable to work at home 100% of the time.

Your role

The Head of Reseller role is critical for driving revenue growth and profitability in the IT service integrator organization through strategic development and execution of the resell business.

  • Strategic Leadership: The Head of Reseller is responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive resell strategy, identifying market opportunities, and aligning sales strategies with the organization's business objectives.
  • Vendor & Partner Management: The Head of Reseller is charged with building and maintaining relationships with key technology vendors and distributors, supporting the negotiating of contracts, and ensuring compliance with vendor requirements.
  • Sales & Operational Excellence: The Head of Reseller leads the effort to achieve reseller profitability targets, collaborates with sales, delivery and partner teams to grow pipeline and ensure exceptional customer satisfaction.

Your skills and experience

  • Experience in IT sales, resell, or channel management, with experience in a leadership role.
  • Strong background in vendor management and partnerships within the IT industry.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret market data and sales metrics.
  • Proven ability to lead and motivate teams to achieve challenging targets.
  • Knowledge of IT products, solutions, and market dynamics.

Your security clearance

To be successfully appointed to this role, it is a requirement to obtain Security Check (SC) clearance. 
To obtain SC clearance, the successful applicant must have resided continuously within the United Kingdom for the last 5 years, along with other criteria and requirements.
Throughout the recruitment process, you will be asked questions about your security clearance eligibility such as, but not limited to, country of residence and nationality.
Some posts are restricted to sole UK Nationals for security reasons; therefore, you may be asked about your citizenship in the application process.
