About the job you're considering

You will be leading pipeline growth and acquisition of new business from new clients within Cloud Infrastructure Services that spans a portfolio of targeted clients in a particular market segment. Your focus will be to lead and drive top line growth for the business segment: 

  • Build, manage and implement the Sales Strategy and Sales Plan for your sub-segment, 
  • Build a strong pipeline to support your Top line Sales target. 
  • Building relationships with the other stakeholders in our business units, 
  • Leveraging your expertise to help develop clear sales strategies and identify opportunities, 
  • Drive growth by identifying customer needs and working with colleagues to construct solutions that include the full breadth of both our infrastructure portfolio and wider Capgemini capabilities. 
  • Build close relationships with the senior executives in your target clients and develop your personal value proposition with these individuals. 
  • Work with Key partners, such as Microsoft, AWS, Google, and ServiceNow, and have experience working with others.

Hybrid working: The places that you work from day to day will vary according to your role, your needs, and those of the business; it will be a blend of Company offices, client sites, and your home; noting that you will be unable to work at home 100% of the time.

Your role

  • The objective is to grow the pipeline and close bookings with new clients within your sector. 
  • You will develop and implement the Sales strategy and Sales Plan as well as contributing to the overall sector strategy, in line with group initiatives.
  • You will own a personal sales target as part of the team target. 
  • You will interact with business developers, solutioning teams from multiple disciplines, delivery teams and bring all together into cohesive teams with a single vision to enable pipeline growth.

Your skills and experience

  • Experience of new business sales and delivering business growth across a range of customers/industries 
  • You will have experience of selling infrastructure technology projects and services 
  • You will have been part of (and maybe led) sales teams to drive new prospects and opportunities and deliver proactive proposals and RFP responses. 
  • You will be ambitious, passionate, personable and collaborative. 
  • You will be a proven team player in a matrix organization. 
  • You will have strong leadership skills that you want to develop, which you’ll use to manage, support and influence the large number of individuals reporting directly and, more importantly, indirectly, coordinating teams both on and offshore.

Your security clearance

To be successfully appointed to this role, it is a requirement to obtain Security Check (SC) clearance. 
To obtain SC clearance, the successful applicant must have resided continuously within the United Kingdom for the last 5 years, along with other criteria and requirements.
Throughout the recruitment process, you will be asked questions about your security clearance eligibility such as, but not limited to, country of residence and nationality.
