We are one of the most versatile teams at Planhat. We blend technical and commercial. We work with clients across different industries, and team up with our colleagues across Sales/CS/Product, we're also needed at every stage of the client lifecycle:

  • joining a call with a startup to figure the technical validation they require, then building out a POC mapping their existing license data into Planhat
  • we help a client struggling with data across three separate systems sync their data seamlessly into Planhat

We are an eclectic bunch, our backgrounds include pre-sales, customer support, client success, consultancy, and project management.

While some of us had a technical background before joining, and experience with tools like Salesforce, Hubspot, or Data Warehouses (Snowflake, BigQuery). Most of us transitioned from commercial roles; we wanted to get deeper into products, and are self-taught technically.

You get that this role is all about creating tangible business value, not getting lost in technical details. In short, you are someone who translates business requirements into results.

People are always sending things your way, because you just seem to 'get it', you get stuff to work, often better than people were picturing. We're not looking for a tickbox of years of experience, some of things we value are:

  • Self-starter: you enjoy learning, you're curious, you like a fast pace, you jump onto business and technical calls, quickly understand people's objectives, then figure out an efficient technical implementation, your comfort zone is constantly expanding
  • Technical knowledge meets business acumen: you know your way around APIs, webhooks, data migrations, customer objectives, and deadlines (or you're a fast learner technically, with strong commercial/consulting credentials)
  • Problem solver: you're structured, you like logical challenges, and also know when you're heading down a rabbit hole (it happens!)
