The Senior Enterprise Architect, operates within the Edge capability, will lead the strategic planning and execution of the customer migrations to Windows 11. This role involves designing and implementing the architecture necessary to support the migration, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations, and optimizing the IT infrastructure for future scalability and efficiency.

 

Hybrid working: The places that you work from day to day will vary according to your role, your needs, and those of the business; it will be a blend of Company offices, client sites, and your home; noting that you will be unable to work at home 100% of the time.

Your role

Strategic Planning and Leadership:

  • Develop and communicate a Windows 11 migration strategy, Provide architectural guidance and oversight during the migration process.
  • Evaluate and select tools and technologies to support the migration. Ensure compatibility of existing applications and systems with Windows 11.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to the migration.

Architecture Design and Implementation:

  • Design the target architecture for Windows 11, including hardware, software, and network components. Ensure the architecture meets security, compliance, and performance standards.
  • Oversee the implementation of the migration plan, including pilot testing and phased rollouts.

Your skills and experience

  • Knowledge of enterprise architecture frameworks and methodologies.
  • Expertise in Windows 11 system requirements and migration best practices.
  • Leadership, communication, and project management skills.
  • Ability to analyse complex technical issues and develop solutions

Your security clearance

To be successfully appointed to this role, it is a requirement to obtain Security Check (SC) clearance. 
To obtain SC clearance, the successful applicant must have resided continuously within the United Kingdom for the last 5 years, along with other criteria and requirements.
Throughout the recruitment process, you will be asked questions about your security clearance eligibility such as, but not limited to, country of residence and nationality.
