As a Senior Consultant in our Technology and Transformation SAP practice you will specialise in SAP Project Accounting and Enterprise Portfolio and Project Management (EPPM), where you will have the opportunity to:

• Be part of a team of high-performing functional consultants to design and build SAP finance enabled business solutions for delivery of large-scale S/4HANA transformation programmes.
• Ensure that the latest SAP functionality is used in your solution design.
• Understand business process design and enable this through SAP functionality.
• Embrace standard SAP wherever possible and ensure that enhancements proposed consider the latest techniques.
• Developing good client relationships.
• Participate in practice development activities to support sales initiatives and internal capability development.
• Keep up to date with knowledge of recent SAP S/4HANA Financial Accounting innovations and roadmap.
• Work in a Consulting environment and benefits from the variety of different experiences available to develop your skills.
• Work with the latest SAP technology including AI and automation innovations
• Access SAP and professional developmental training through internal (e.g. Deloitte University) and external provision (e.g. via SAP Learning Hub). Attain and maintain SAP certification.

To be successful in this role you are required to demonstrate experience of:

Essential

• Good knowledge of SAP Financial Accounting and Controlling, especially on the integration points with Project Accounting.
• Knowledge of financial accounting principles, concepts, and processes.
• Understanding SAP Enterprise Structure concepts and how these align to your client's organisation and business structures.
• Participating/facilitating fit to standard workshops and translating the requirements into design.
• Completing design, configuration, unit testing, documentation and other planned deliverables based on agreed timelines.
• Preparing functional specifications for development objects.
• Understanding of both Agile and Waterfall implementation methodologies.
• Good communication skills (written and oral) with clients and colleagues both on and offshore.
• Forging good professional relationships with your client counterparts, leaders and peers.
• Producing high quality deliverables and documentation.
• Escalating timeline concerns, risks and issues promptly to team leaders.
• Understanding SAP Best Practices.

Desirable

• Qualified/Part-Qualified ACA/CIMA/ACCA or equivalent
• Security cleared / ability to gain security clearance, to be able to support activities in the Public Sector
• Experience of working across both private and public sector
• Experience with one or more of the following functionalities will help you stand out:
  • SAP Enterprise Portfolio and Project Management (EPPM)
  • Customer Projects (S/4HANA Public Cloud)
  • Resource Related Billing (RRB)
