We're seeking a future team member for the role of Senior Associate, Reconciliations to join our Reconciliations Governance and Oversight team. This role is located in Manchester, UK -HYBRID 3 days in office.

In this role, you'll make an impact in the following ways:

  • Provide accurate and relevant reporting, using various data collation and reporting tools, to allow monitoring and clearing of reconciliation exceptions.
  • Deliver daily, weekly and monthly reporting based on your understanding of the accounts records and knowledge of basic accounting.
  • Proficient in information recording, data collation, manipulation and reporting with high attention to detail; and indepth knowledge of Microsoft suite including Excel, Powerpoint, Automation Tools etc., being open to Continuous Process Improvement
  • Decipher complex exceptions, performing root-cause analysis on why exceptions exist. Communicate trends and offer technical solutions.
  • Build effective and collaborative relationships with the business to improve efficiencies, reduce manual inputs, exceptions and delay
  • Support root cause discussions with the aim of reducing risk and identifying areas of improvement, whilst sharing ideas and solutions across the Organisation.
  • Take initiative to implement programs that improve internal controls to maintain regulatory and corporate standards.
  • Take ownership of complex technology-enhancing projects and own project timelines.
  • Be responsible for testing of new technology solutions or enhancements,
  • Contribute to the achievement of department goals
  • Help ensure that the team creates an effective control environment and the control standards, risk management systems etc., are up-to-date.

To be successful in this role, we're seeking the following:

  • High School/secondary school or the equivalent combination of education and experience is required. Bachelors degree preferred.
  • Proficiency in information recording, data manipulation and reporting tools and sound knowledge of data automation concepts is required
  • 7 plus years of total work experience.
  • Experience in brokerage/banking operations preferred
