Purpose of the Role
We are seeking an Product Cyber Security Requirements Manager to join the Product Security team on a full time permanent basis, at our Crewe campus with hybrid working. Reporting to the Vehicle Cyber Security Manager the role is responsible for the definition of the various levels of product security system engineering requirements in place for all projects.

Responsibilities include:

  • Developing and maintaining security specifications for vehicle components and functions for all projects
  • Definition of process, structure and interfaces of product security system engineering with respect to overall vehicle system engineering
  • Define and deliver L0, L1, L2 levels of product security requirements documents/work products for all projects
  • Analyse and update cybersecurity requirements based on the applicable cyber security legislations for the project
  • Ensure traceability between regulations and requirements are maintained and available for audit purposes

About the Team

The product cybersecurity team is part of the R&D Electrical/Electronic Engineering department primarily responsible for the cybersecurity of the whole vehicle ensuring that the secure product development lifecycle is followed to meet the cybersecurity regulations and provide the confidence to customer around the cyber security of the vehicles.

About you - Skills and Experience

The successful applicant will be a delivery focused and experienced Product Security Requirements Engineer/Manager with technical product security competencies ideally gained from within the automotive sector.

You will be able to demonstrate:

  • Excellent product security technical competency (UNECE, R155, R156, ISO21434)
  • Good understanding of security controls for automotive vehicles
  • System requirements engineering experience
  • Software/Programming knowledge (C, C++)
  • Project management and Planning
  • Good communication skills
  • Engineering degree or equivalent is essential (or equivalent experience)
  • Associate member of relevant professional institute is desirable
