Job Description

What will you be doing?

We're seeking a talented person to join our HR Services team in London. In this role, you will manage and innovate the delivery of HR operational services across the full employee lifecycle, ensuing high quality, personalised support and guidance is given to both the HR team and wider business. You will lead a team of HR Associates who are responsible for managing customer queries end-to-end, managing the onboarding and offboarding process and processing NetSuite transactions.

As HR Services Manager, your responsibilities will include among others

  • Manage the HRIS records strategy, conducting self-audits as necessary, to ensure the retention and processing of all employee data allows the facilitation of payroll and is GDPR, Home Office, HMRC, FCA and Company compliant.
  • Support the implementation of new or improved HR procedures, structures, solutions and processes that deliver continuous improvement to the HR Services offering
  • Support team to deliver monthly payroll submissions
  • Drive excellence to ensure team deliver market leading employee experience and provide appropriate training and communication across the organisation to ensure employees have the necessary knowledge and understanding of the HR systems and support available.
  • Ensure agreed KPIs and metrics are achieved within your team ensuring business requirements are met.
  • Work with 3rd party providers to ensure timely and effective case resolution
  • To manage HR systems and processes using a data driven approach which promotes accuracy, efficiency and a right first-time mentality.
  • Ensure any significant issues or risks to the HR service delivery are identified and promptly escalated

To be successful in this role, you should

  • Be able to coach, motivate and develop the HR services teams to provide personalised, knowledge driven support with attention to detail
  • Have a strong track record of successfully managing and developing teams and people.
  • Have in depth knowledge of HR operational delivery, including the setting and monitoring of service delivery targets and providing user focused HR solutions through technology.
  • Be analytical by nature and able to demonstrate thoughtfulness around process improvement and change with a commercial approach.
  • Be able to build strong and effective relationships with all internal and external stakeholders to improve service, create value and provide high performance.
  • Be comfortable with data analytics and proficient in Microsoft Excel and graphical reporting
  • Have demonstrable experience of managing sector specific requirements and legislation as well as that required of HR professionals.
  • Have experience in the full employee lifecycle of selecting, implementing and managing HR systems and data.

Desired

  • Have the ability to monitor KPIs to measure service quality in order to drive continuously improved operational excellence. Exposure to HR case management tools preferred.
  • Have strong interpersonal and communication skills - both oral and written.
  • Have the ability to retain a position of strength in challenging situations.
  • Have the ability to adapt to change and work under pressure.
