Education and qualifications
Essential criteria
- Educated to masters level or equivalent level of experience of working at a senior level in specialist area
- Formal project management qualification (e.g. PRINCE2, APM) or ability to demonstrate significant experience using project management methodologies
Knowledge & Experience
Essential criteria
- Knowledge and experience of leading large-scale programmes of work
- Knowledge and experience of the factors that influence staff experience and retention
- Comprehensive experience managing projects using project management approaches
Skills, capabilities & Attributes
Essential criteria
- Ability to negotiate on difficult and controversial issues including performance and change
- Ability to analyse complex facts and situations and develop a range of options
- Ability to make decisions autonomously, when required, on difficult and contentious issues where there may be a number of courses of action, working to tight and often changing timescales
- Demonstrates a strong desire to improve performance and make a difference by focusing on goals
- Capable of delivering high -quality improvement programmes and/or transformational change projects generating successful outcomes

- Employment at the Trust is offered subject to successful completion of a six month probationary period.

Applicant requirements
The postholder will have access to vulnerable people in the course of their normal duties and as such this post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 (Exceptions) Order 1975 (Amendment) (England and Wales) Order 2020 and as such it will be necessary for a submission for Disclosure to be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service to check for any previous criminal convictions.
