The Role
We have a new opportunity for a Residential Conveyancer/ConveyancingExecutive/Chartered Legal Executive/Paralegal to join our Real Estate team in Bristolor Reading on a permanent basis.
This is a diverse and varied role, working across all areas of Plotsconveyancing for a range of housebuilder clients. It is an exciting andchallenging position for an experienced conveyancer who enjoys working in asupportive environment, with some ambitious and often demanding clients. Youwill work closely with our clients acting for them in the sale of their newbuild plots, some of which will be using purchasing schemes, and supporting afull range of conveyancing requirements.
Our Real Estate department supports clients on a range of matters, fromlarge land acquisition deals right through to plot sales. We advise onresidential development work, strategic land joint ventures and consortiaarrangements. Our strong reputation in the residential sector is based on manyyears' experience advising residential developers and house-builders. Ourunderstanding of the market brings a depth of expertise, which makes us one ofthe leading law firms in this field.
Our clients are some of the UK'sleading house-builders including Barratt Homes, Bloor Homes, Vistry Partnershipand Cotswold Homes.

TechnicalSkills and Experience
The successful candidate will demonstrate:
• Plots sales or residential property conveyancingexperience gained within a similar role.
• Experience in undertaking title investigationof properties purchased is desirable, but not essential.
• The ability to take on a caseload fairlyswiftly with minimal supervision.
• The ability to work under pressure and totight deadlines.
• The ability to work with high volumes attimes, without compromising on service.
• Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Excellent IT skills with the ability toproduce own work and use case management systems.
• Commercial awareness; keeping up to date andapplying changes and developments in this area of law.
Team
You will be a part of the Plots team, which sits within Real Estate andworks closely with other areas of the business. Alongside plot conveyancing,the team works on site set up matters, section agreements, compliancecertificates and deeds of variation. The team is based both in Bristol andReading and consists of 15 plots and part exchange conveyancers with variouslevels of experience, and 9 administrative assistants.
