Location: Bedford, Milton Keynes or Northampton (to cover projects from London to Leicestershire)

Salary: Competitive + company vehicle

Contract Type: Permanent

Working Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday-Friday

What you`ll do:

We are recruiting for an exciting opportunity as a Contract Manager to join our Arb Rail & Infrastructure division, situated in and around the Bedford area.

You will contribute to the performance and growth of the division and ensure that we exceed our client`s expectations on safety, quality and operational delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Managing multiple Site Supervisors and sites to exceed client and internal KPIs
• Assist with the planning, safety, and quality of the works carried out
• Survey sites to evaluate work required and ensuring adequate resourcing to deliver

This is a field based role covering site between London and Leicestershire. You will either be on site or working from home.

Who are we looking for?

This is a great opportunity for a change. You could be working as a manager on the rail side and looking for a change into de-veg work or you could be a strong Arb Manager looking for a move into rail. The candidate will ideally have had some, but not necessarily all, of the following;

• Relevant managerial and operational experience or equivalent relevant practical experience.
• Solid commercial acumen with experience of managing NEC contracts
• Previous experience in the rail industry
• Experienced in effectively leading teams
• Effective influencing and negotiating skills.
• Knowledge and strong commercial acumen of tendering
