SMALL ANIMAL CLINICAL DIRECTOR NO OOH - AURORA VETERINARY CLINIC - ABERDEEN

Aurora Veterinary Clinic is an exciting project which started as a friendly and forward-thinking brand new practice in 2006, with 4 people. Since then, we have evolved into a 14 person practice, remaining true to our original aims of providing the highest level of service for our clients and their pets, tailoring our treatments to individual needs and keeping kindness, care and empathy at the centre of every case. Our experienced and dedicated team includes 5 full time equivalent vets, 4 nurses, 1 ACA, 3 receptionists and a Practice Manager.

Our practice is now poised to enter a new growth phase and are looking for a highly motivated and conscientious Clinical Director to join us on this journey, replacing one of our founding vets who is retiring. Work alongside our remaining Clinical Director, Practice Manager and Head Nurse, you will have a strong desire to work collaboratively with our existing colleagues, to further develop the practice clinically, look after the wellbeing of our team and seek out new opportunities to shape the future direction of our practice.

We can be flexible, finding right person to join our team is most important so we would welcome applications from experienced vets too.

Aurora is located on the north side of Aberdeen and the location is ideal to enjoy all that city life has to offer, while at the same time being in easy reach of Cairngorms National Park and a wide range of outdoor activities. We also have great travel links, including an international airport nearby.

We are ideally looking for someone full-time (40 hours), working over a 5 day week (and every 4th or 5th Sat morning), but there would be flexibility for the right candidate. There is no on call as this is covered by an out of hours practice.

• Salary of £65,000 - £70,000 depending on experience
