Careers and Graduate Employability Manager

We are recruiting for a Careers and Graduate Employability Manager to support the management and leadership of the Careers Team in delivering and developing the careers and employability support we provide, with a focus on improving graduate outcomes.

This is an exciting new role within the Careers Team, providing an opportunity to make a real difference and help deliver our targets within our Student Opportunity and Success Strategy and our Access and Participation Plan (APP). The post holder will work closely with the Head of Careers and the wider Student Achievement Services teams. You will develop relationships with key stakeholders across the University and Students' Union; including academic colleagues, and our students, to understand existing careers and employability provision and implement improvements and activities designed to close identified progression gaps within our APP.

The successful candidate will have a good honours degree and a qualification and background in Careers Guidance and Employability delivery. You will have knowledge of the opportunities available, and the barriers students face as they graduate, particularly those who are under-represented in higher education including mature students and black students. You will have experience of line management and successfully leading a team to work with a diverse range of students. employers and stakeholders.
