About the Role:
The School of Law and Policing is seeking a dynamic and motivated Business Development Manager to play a key role in driving forward the School's growth and engagement strategies.
In this role, you will:
- Identify and pursue opportunities to enhance the School's portfolio, including apprenticeships, student recruitment, knowledge exchange, and CPD programmes.
- Manage alumni relations and strengthen stakeholder engagement to build lasting partnerships.
- Lead on strategic business development initiatives, ensuring impactful outcomes for the School.
- Work collaboratively across the University to deliver results that align with our strategic objectives.

About You:
We are looking for a candidate who brings:
- A good honours degree (or equivalent experiential learning).
- Proven expertise in business development, ideally within the education sector or a related field.
- Experience engaging with business networks and cultivating strong partnerships.
- Exceptional project management skills with a track record of delivering results on time and within scope.
- Outstanding interpersonal skills to build and nurture relationships with a wide range of stakeholders.
- A creative and forward-thinking approach to identifying income-generating opportunities.
- The ability to manage workloads effectively, work to plan, and achieve set targets.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to convey ideas and engage audiences.
