The person will be joining a team which works with a wide range of various other teams across the groups different towers providing ample opportunities for continuous learning and development.

In this role you will

  • Own and Maintain Application Operations (AO) PEN test process, including annual PEN test schedule of critical applications and treatment plans to be handled centrally and keep teams accountable to their projected milestones for delivery.
  • Engage with Application Support team(s) to agree the schedule, ensure all prerequisites for testing are met before the start of testing window
  • Support SDM in relation to any risk being raised as result of their application not being able to test in a calendar year.
  • Support Infrastructure Operations from an Application perspective to remediate vulnerabilities on the IT estate within agreed patching targets, co-ordinate and handle patch changes and deployment slots

What will make you stand out?

You will have 8+ years' experience to include Technical Service Delivery and demonstrable experience in discussing Technical Issues with people at all levels (Customers, Vendors, Service & Business Partners and other Technology Services teams)

Having proven track record to present service and process improvement initiatives to both technical and non-technical audiences will make you stand out!

You will have experience of leadership and management of teams, with a strong customer focused background and commercial awareness, with the ability to communicate, negotiate and influence.

Vendor management and building relationships with partners are also important within this role, with experience in dealing with international outsource vendor's extremely advantageous

Essential Qualifications

  • Third Level IT Qualification
  • ITIL Certification or equivalent
  • DevOps Certification or equivalent
  • Cloud Service Architecture Certification or equivalent
  • Project management certification PRINCE 2 / PMI or equivalent desirable

More about the team

The Technical Service Management area is responsible for handling delivery of all Technical Services underpinning all IT service towers (Retail ROI, Retail UK, Payments, Corporate, GM etc.)

Key focus areas:

The objectives of the role and key focus areas include:

  • Provide single end to end view of Technical Services
  • Owner of Technical Information
  • Sign-off on technical changes
  • Point of contact for AO team for technical demand

This is a hybrid onsite role and can be done anywhere in the Republic of Ireland with the primary office location as ITC, Cabinteely, Dublin 18. Travel will be required for in-person collaboration - exact frequency to be agreed with manager. #LI-HYBRID #IJ-HYBRID
