Take advantage of this fantastic opportunity to learn new skills and become one of our Supporting Volunteers. You will get to meet new people in our offices (known as 'hubs') or online from home. As a Supporting Volunteer you will assist with things like data collection, analysis, administration and presentation as well as carrying out useful surveys to help us maintain our records.
As a Supporting Volunteer you will feel part of the team, with plenty of opportunity to learn more about a variety of subjects like carbon accounting, energy consumption and climate adaptation. You will make a difference by being an additional voice in the team by presenting important and complex information clearly and simply to help inform decisions within the Trust.
Why we want you
Our Supporter volunteers ensure that the day to day nuts and bolts of the waterways happen be that monitoring activities on the towpath or that the running of teams and the necessary processes happen in the background. This can be anything from working with our Social Media Team to assisting with location and filming for productions. Our Supporting Volunteers also support our teams within our offices and even on the Towpath conducting audits.
