Description
About AXA:
AXA is a global leader in insurance and financial services, dedicated to helping customers protect what matters most to them. As the sixth-largest insurance company in the world, we provide a wide range of services, including health, car, home, and business insurance. We support millions of customers worldwide, helping them navigate life's uncertainties with confidence.
AXA UK Support Functions look after our three customer-facing business units, providing the infrastructure and expertise to make sure we can be there for our customers.
Job overview:
We're looking for a Reward Manager to join us and lead the design, governance and rollout of AXA's reward architecture for our NextGen Product Model, ensuring alignment with the Reward and Future Skills strategy. You'll support the transformation agenda by creating reward, job and career elements that fit into AXA's new ways of working, helping us operate smoothly and successfully as we move forward.
Key responsibilities:
• Convert job descriptions into AXA role profiles and upload them to the system. Work with Organisational Development and business leaders for approval, ensuring profiles meet AXA standards and are accessible to HR, recruiters and managers.
• Determine the correct AXA grade for each role by mapping to WTW global grades and considering the business context. Collaborate with the UK Reward Team for consistency and understand how roles fit within teams.
• Identify when new pay structures are needed and plan their rollout around pay review timelines. Assign roles to appropriate pay families and ranges, explaining your reasoning. Work with UK Reward leads on practical and governance issues.
• Design career paths for new roles, mapping job families, levels, key skills and potential progressions. Ensure alignment with AXA's Way of Working and senior leadership input.
• Plan how new roles, profiles and pay structures will be reflected in systems like Workday, the intranet and recruitment tools.
• Maintain strong relationships with the UK Reward team and project team. Ensure communication and processes follow standards, lead governance meetings and track approvals and decisions.
Work arrangements:
At AXA we work smart, empowering our people to balance their time between home and the office in a way that works best for them, their team and our customers. You'll work at least two days a week (40%) away from home, moving to three days a week (60%) in the future. Away from home means attending the office, visiting clients or attending industry events.
Your skills & experience:
• Practical experience in reward/compensation, job architecture or HR analytics, preferably in a large, complex organisation.
• Demonstrable ability to design and implement role profiles, grading structures and pay frameworks.
• Familiar with Workday or similar HRIS, with an ability to translate design into system data and configurations.
• Able to lead multiple workstreams with cross-functional teams, with effective project and stakeholder management skills.
As a precondition of employment for this role, you must be eligible and authorised to work in the United Kingdom.
