Role

About the role

As a Social Media Manager, you will be instrumental in devising and executing innovative social media strategies that not only resonate with our audience but also drive engagement and results. You will have a hands-on knowledge of social media and creator marketing, with a particular focus on TikTok, Instagram and YouTube. Equally important is your ability to understand different audiences, and in a particular Gen Z, and how tailor content to engage them.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Content Planning and Platform Strategy: Work alongside our strategy and creative teams to deliver best in class content and campaigns.
  • Content Creation: Generate engaging, relevant content ranging from memes to TikTok videos that spark conversations and build community.
  • Scheduling: Ensure all content is shared across appropriate channels at optimal times.
  • Copywriting: Serve as the voice of our diverse brands, from crafting catchy captions to responding thoughtfully to community interactions.
  • Influencer Management: Curate and collaborate with influencers who align with our clients' sectors, enhancing our creative strategies and extending our reach.
  • Community Management: Keep your finger on the pulse of social trends to engage actively and authentically with our audiences.
  • Project Management: Keep social projects on track and project manage the production of assets with the Creative team, within budget and on time.
  • Reporting: Monitor, analyse, and report on the impact of our social media efforts, using data to drive future content decisions.

About you

We are looking for someone who has a true passion for social media, with a demonstrable knowledge of ever-changing platforms, formats and trends. You will be able to display confidence in presenting your innovative ideas, connecting with our client's business objectives and social communication goals. You should have an interest in content production and all things social as well as an awareness of digital channels beyond that which make up the full comms ecosystem. You will be positive, forward thinking and organised, able to work to deadlines and are ready to grow and thrive within the fast-evolving social media landscape.

Qualification & skills requirements

  • Proven work experience within social media
  • Expertise in managing multiple social media platforms
  • Ability to deliver creative content ideas
  • Familiarity with online marketing strategies and channels
  • Expertise with social listening and community management tools, e.g. Brandwatch, Pulsar, Sprout, etc.
  • Paid social knowledge is beneficial, but not essential
  • Ability to grasp future trends in digital technologies and act proactively
  • Maintains excellent writing and language skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Multitasking and analytics skills
  • Must have the right to work in the UK
