The Role
Our SEO team is looking for an SEO & Content Account Manager. This exciting role offers the opportunity to work with renowned brands, making a tangible impact on their digital performance. As a key member of the team, you'll drive SEO execution, ensuring high-quality deliverables and adherence to deadlines, with a focus on content.
This role offers a great opportunity to work in an environment that combines innovation through AI with exceptional client integration. We are looking for someone who is interested in working on performance-led accounts with an enthusiasm for data and an eye for detail.
As an SEO & Content Account Manager, you'll manage client accounts with support from your SEO Account Director, provide SEO recommendations and enforce best practices, oversee SEO Executives through line management, and actively contribute to new business pitches.
This role has a focus on content - you'll work as part of a team to manage end-to-end content campaigns, from developing insights, to carrying out auditing and gap analysis, to developing strategy and recommendations.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead the day-to-day relationship with clients, building excellent relationships through delivery of SEO roadmaps with support of the wider team
• Manage the delivery of content projects, including insight generation, audits and gap analysis, strategy and recommendation development, and integration with PR teams and other content stakeholders
• Manage the delivery of high-quality outputs including technical audits, keyword research, on page recommendations and content gap analysis and strategy
• Leverage industry reporting, analysis and insight tools, such as Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMRush, Ahrefs and social listening
• Take an active lead in identifying ways to integrate our AI tools, Imagine and Sidekick, into SEO workflows
• Communicate professionally with client stakeholders, helping to form strong relationships
• Support with new business pitching and integration of SEO and paid search
Skills and Experience
• Two to three years' experience in an SEO-focused role, ideally within an agency
• Experience managing SEO-led content campaigns that integrate with PR teams and other content stakeholders, and that deliver results against client objectives
• Experience in managing clients with the ability to form strong long-term relationships
• A good understanding of technical SEO, such as managing website migrations, page speed analysis and resolving indexation issues
• Experience of content projects, including campaign support, audits and gap analysis, strategy and recommendation development
• Excellent organisation and time management skills - comfortable balancing tasks and working to deadlines based on priorities
• Experience in managing and developing junior team members, working with them to ensure delivery of high quality outputs
• Experience working with tools like Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMRush, Ahrefs and Looker Studio
