Senior Solutions Developer

What is the opportunity?

We are currently looking for an experienced Senior Power Platform Developer to join an automation team within People Services. We are expanding our team to support business needs and work on various scale projects within the division.

This is chance to join a development team where you will play a key role in the development of custom applications and solutions. You will gain exposure to various different applications and tools.

In this role you will:

• Development of custom applications and solutions built into the existing or new environment particularly around Power Apps and Power Automate
• Research of new technologies relevant to Power Platform
• Governance of the Power Platform tools
• Writing supporting documentation
• Maintenance, support and enhancement of the existing application
• Participate as a member of an agile development project team

Essential Qualifications

Third level qualification in Computer Science/Engineering or a related field

What will make you stand out:

• Development experience in the Microsoft Power Platform - Power Apps, Power Automate (including Power Automate for Desktop) Power Virtual Agent and Power BI
• Experience on SAP systems such as ECC and SuccessFactors & Microsoft 365 applications
• Understanding of Power Apps formulas and development methods, installing and configuring data gateways, Creation of different environments, DLP
• Experience in creating Entities, tables, relationships, fields
• Experience in Data, UI, Logic, Visualizations, UX Design

While not essential to apply the following would be a strong bonus!

• Knowledge using web languages such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript
• Exposure to using cloud infrastructure and associated API's
• Utilise different testing methodologies, tools and techniques
• Task ownership and ability to work within timelines and budgets
• Ability to write test plans, create test cases test data for SharePoint systems
• Effectively collaborates and communicates with the partners
• Highly motivated, with an ability to work on own initiative
• Strong analytical skills and logical approach
• Experience in collaborating closely with clients and participating in requirements gathering and design workshops
• Have the ability to introduce new concepts and innovations

More about the team:

The Automation team are responsible for designing and developing E2E solutions using a wide variety of software available. We ensure all projects are done using best practices and having the customer experience at the forefront of any decision making.

We collaborate with a wide range of partners across the division and wider group and work closely together as a team to ensure all members of the team are equipped to support on any existing process developed.
