The opportunity has now arisen for a highly motivated and experienced person to fill the following position, based at our Head Office in Antrim:

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the commercial aspects of the factory's operations. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong business acumen and excellent leadership skills to drive continuous improvement and ensure the profitability of the factory.

Main duties will include:

• Monitor and report on the commercial performance of the joinery workshop ensuring meaningful data on factory performance is available. Provide regular commentary and evaluation to the CEO and Board.
• Develop and manage budgets, forecasts and programmes.
• Preparation of project budget for joinery workshop
• Value and agree the cost of any variations
• Prepare cost, value and reconciliation monthly reports on each assigned project
• Build up costs for each element of the work, identify labour, material requirements and source and obtain quotations where applicable.
• Provide feedback information to the Commercial Department regarding tender values vs. actual costs

Candidates must possess a third level Construction/Quantity Surveying qualification and have previous experience in a commercial management role, preferably within the joinery, construction, or manufacturing industry.

The ideal candidate will have strong leadership, problem solving and negotiating skills and will be a strategic thinker who is results driven with a proactive approach and the ability to meet deadlines. Experience of using the Conquest package would be an advantage. This role is based at our HQ in Antrim and no travel is required.
