£60k - £67.5k per annum dependent on experience

Hybrid - 2-3 days per week in Birmingham

Reporting into the Head of Enterprise Programme Delivery, the Senior Project Manager will manage end-to-end delivery of projects within the OS2.0 transformation programme and other enterprise-wide initiatives. This role is critical to ensuring projects are completed on time, within scope, and on budget.

As Senior Project Manager you will work with senior leaders, cross-functional teams, and external partners to align resources and manage risks, ensuring the seamless delivery of transformation goals. Key responsibilities will include:

  • Developing and managing multiple project plans, ensure timely delivery, and adjust plans as needed to mitigate risks.
  • Providing regular project updates to senior leadership and stakeholders, ensuring clarity and alignment.
  • Proactively identifying risks and develop mitigation strategies, escalating critical issues as needed.
  • Monitoring project resources and budgets, ensuring efficient use and alignment with goals.
  • Ensuring deliverables meet quality standards and strategic objectives.
  • Coordinating across teams and departments to ensure cohesive project delivery aligned with enterprise-wide goals.

The successful Senior Project Manager will have proven experience managing large scale projects, demonstrable success working with cross-functional teams and managing project finances and proficiency with tools like Jira, Confluence, and Azure DevOps. In addition they will;

    • Have strong financial management, governance, and reporting skills.
    • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving abilities.
    • Ability to coach and mentor teams, driving project success.
    • Detail-oriented, proactive, and adaptable.
    • Strong collaboration and resilience under pressure.
    • Results-driven with a focus on delivering business objectives.
    • Certifications like Scrum Master (CSM), SAFe Agilist, or PMI-ACP are desirable.
