Job overview:
We're seeking a Senior Project Manager to join AXA Global Healthcare, overseeing the planning, management, and delivery of highly complex strategic projects. This role involves collaborating with senior stakeholders to drive successful outcomes and ensure seamless project execution. The ideal candidate will have proven expertise in the Claims Technical Excellence domain, as this role is specifically focused on delivering the Claims Technical Excellence Project. Key responsibilities:
• Manage highly complex strategic projects within scope, time, budget, and quality parameters, ensuring the realisation of expected benefits.
• Lead all aspects of project lifecycle from initiation through to successful completion, including planning, execution, and closure.
• Develop and coordinate mobilisation and initiation activities in collaboration with Transformation teams, sponsors, and SMEs.
• Establish and motivate a project organisation and team structure tailored to the change, fostering a high-performance environment.
• Apply and monitor project management frameworks, ensuring governance, controls, and reporting meet organisational standards.
• Identify, communicate, and manage project risks, issues, dependencies, and assumptions, escalating cross-portfolio risks as needed.
• Ensure all project documentation and deliverables are of high quality and meet stakeholder needs.
• Manage project budgets and reporting, tracking spend, and ensuring delivery aligns with financial targets and timelines.
Work arrangements:
At AXA we work smart, empowering our people to balance their time between home and the office in a way that works best for them, their team and our customers. You'll work at least two days a week (40%) away from home, moving to three days a week (60%) in the future. Away from home means attending the office, visiting clients or attending industry events.

Your skills & experience:
• Extensive experience delivering highly complex, strategic projects, working closely with senior stakeholders.
• Experience in process re-engineering, continuous improvement, cost saving, business process design, process improvement.
• Proven success in delivering insurance claims process improvement, automation, and re-engineering projects.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to influence and negotiate effectively across all stakeholder levels.
• Knowledge of various project frameworks and governance, including Waterfall and Agile methodologies.
• Relevant professional project management qualification (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2).
• Excellent organisational and planning abilities, with the capacity to work independently or as part of a team.
• Experience in the Financial Services sector, ideally within PMI/IPMI industry.
