A great opportunity has arisen for a committed person to work in Traffic & Highways Maintenance undertaking tasks and small complex projects to support the day-to-day activities of the Parking Services' Business and Permits team.

You will join the team to ensure we can continue delivering improved services for our residents and visitors and to help us deliver an ambitious service delivery plan.

Reporting to the team manager, you will help prepare reports for cabinet members and team managers, implement small projects, help manage contracts, assist in the procurement of equipment or services and contribute to the ongoing financial, business and process management activities that the team undertake. You will build relationships with both internal and external suppliers and stakeholders.

You will already have experience of public sector procurement and/or financial, business process, project or contract management. You will be proactive and curious with analytic and problem-solving skills. You will have excellent interpersonal skills and will be an excellent communicator as oral and written communication skills are an essential part of the role.

You will require a good knowledge of Microsoft office applications, particularly MS Excel.
