As a Senior Marketing Executive, you will play a pivotal role in our team, driving marketing initiatives and campaigns that reach educators globally. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Develop comprehensive marketing strategies for our titles or series, utilising the full marketing mix (online & offline advertising, email, organic & paid social media, etc.).
- Plan and monitor the marketing budget to ensure cost-effective campaigns.
- Prepare marketing and sales materials for conferences, sales meetings, or mailings.
- Plan, write copy, create emails, test, and review results to optimise email marketing efforts.
- Develop our annual Education catalogue, showcasing our best resources.
- Potential travel to attend and represent DK at conferences (UK & international).
A typical day might include:
- Research, commission, and edit engaging content for the DK Learning website, social media platforms, and newsletters.
- Regularly update the DK Learning website via our Content Management System (CMS).
- Collaborate on the design and production of various marketing materials, such as social media assets (including video), paid social advertising, e-newsletters, presentations, catalogues, and event material.
- Craft compelling copy and design email campaigns.
- Identify and brief influencers for promotional campaigns to enhance our reach and engagement.
Skills and Behaviours:
- Proven experience in marketing educational content, including marketing to audiences outside of the UK (US or other regions - please specify on your CV/cover letter)
- Knowledge of the education landscape
- Proven experience in delivering successful marketing campaigns - (e.g., via influencer/social media campaigns)
- Highly creative, analytical, and strategic
- Commercial awareness and strong analytical skills
- Strong oral and written communication skills and the ability to influence
- Effective time management and the ability to manage a busy and varied workload

Salary: up to £32,000 depending on how your skills and experience align to the role, plus bonus and benefits
