Senior Marketing Executive (6 Month FTC)

We have a great opportunity for a Senior Marketing Executive to join our Marketing and Sales team on a 6 month fixed term contract in our Bristol office.

This role will support our service line marketing initiatives to grow practices within our Advisory practice group, which includes our Employment, Pensions, Tax, Incentives, Competition and Private Wealth legal services.

You will work closely with the other Marketing Executives in the team, as well as the Marketing Manager and Senior Marketing Manager for Practice Groups. You will also liaise with other members of the Business Development, Communications and Transformation Marketing teams.

Role expectations:

This role involves a variety of interesting tasks and significant responsibilities, primarily assisting in delivering on the Advisory and Project, Real Estate and Finance (PREF) Practice Group marketing initiatives.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Supporting initiatives and projects to drive growth in line with Advisory and PREF marketing plans.
  • Collaborating with the Events team and relevant fee earners to deliver targeted, successful events within budget, including follow-up activities and ROI evaluation.
  • Drafting and executing communications plans, briefing internal teams and external partners, generating mailing lists, and tracking/reporting success.
  • Producing and managing content for external communications, such as brochures, email campaigns and videos, in collaboration with fee earners and Brand and Comms teams.
  • Repurposing marketing content for various channels, including social media, podcasts, videos and website,working closely with the Digital Channels team.
  • Updating team sheets and credentials documents.
  • Supporting on Legal Directories.
  • Supervising Assistants on certain projects and initiatives.

What we're looking for:

We are seeking a candidate with excellent project management and communication skills with a sales and marketing background, ideally from a legal or professional services environment. The ideal candidate will enjoy a mix of sales and marketing challenges.

Key responsibilities:

  • Exceptionally organised, with a keen eye for detail, and highly literate and numerate.
  • Demonstrable experience in managing multiple projects to completion and evaluating their effectiveness.
  • Confidence in briefing partners and lawyers on sales and marketing initiatives, capturing clear information for implementation.
  • Proactive in setting priorities and identifying the appropriate level of importance/urgency for projects.
  • Proactive in anticipating the needs of Partners involved in projects.
  • Excellent communication skills, capable of building strong rapport with sales, marketing, and legal teams.
  • Confidence in self-assessing projects and suggesting alternative ways to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Excellent IT skills, with experience in InterAction or a similar CRM database.
  • Ability to think creatively and develop innovative marketing strategies.
  • Strong analytical skills to assess campaign performance and make data-driven decisions.
  • Commitment to providing exceptional client service.
