Qualifications & Training
Essential criteria
- Medical degree
- Significant postgraduate work experience working in an acute setting (or equivalent gained on part-time or flexible basis), in a specialty training programme in paediatric surgery / urology or as a fixed term specialty trainee in paediatric surgery / urology.
- Demonstratable experience working in paediatric surgery / urology and assessing and managing common paediatric surgical emergencies
Desirable criteria
- MRCS
- APLS accreditation

- Candidates must be eligible for their own GMC registration: an active licence, ceased license or pending application with the GMC at the point of application. Candidates who do not fit this criteria will not progress through to the shortlisting stage
