This post is full time and permanent, working 35 hours per week.

Westminster Law School is a large, vibrant and diverse community of legal scholarship, learning and practice located in central London.

As part of our ambitions to develop and deliver our expanding portfolio of innovative degree programmes, both academic and professional, the School is looking to appoint an outstanding new member of our academic community at Senior Lecturer level with experience and expertise in leadership and innovation in Legal Education, and a passion and commitment a transformational student experience. We welcome applications from candidates with expertise in all areas of law and connected fields, including those with a background in the legal profession and professional legal training as well as applicants with an outstanding or emerging research record. The successful candidate will contribute to leadership and innovation within our educational endeavours, as well as all other areas of activity across the School, including teaching, knowledge exchange and research in their fields of expertise.

The School houses a diverse academic and professional community which seeks to push the boundaries of legal knowledge and practice, and is home to numerous flagship centres, which are leading hubs of expertise and public engagement. These include the Centre for Law, Society and Popular Culture; the Law and Theory Lab; International Law at Westminster; the Centre for Law, Gender, Race and Sexuality; the Centre on the Legal Profession; and the Westminster Legal Advice Clinic. We offer unique undergraduate and postgraduate programmes, including our LLM courses in Entertainment Law, International Law, Law and Technology, and our suite of LLMs in commercial and corporate law, as well as a range of professionally-focused programmes. Our unique undergraduate portfolio now includes courses in Law and Criminal Justice, Law and International Relations, and a ground-breaking new critical degree in Policing, alongside our flagship LLB programmes.
