Senior IT Business Partner

We are seeking a Senior IT Business Partner to join our team in Bristol or London, where you will lead a new team of Business Partners, working as part of our Service Delivery team in developing and maintaining strong relationships with stakeholders and decision makers across the business.

The role

Key responsibilities of the role include:

  • Acting as an interface between the IT Services function and the business, championing ITS within the business, building key relationships to allow for better communication and understanding of the needs of each business area
  • Delivering the highest quality of technology services to an internationally dedicated client base
  • Aligning IT services and solutions with the needs and objectives of the business by seeking an outside view
  • Developing metrics and KPIs to evaluate IT performance and ensuring it meets business needs
  • Working with the ITS Leadership team to optimise the use of IT resources to support business operations, identifying opportunities where IT can provide a competitive advantage, improve efficiency, or enhance customer experiences
  • Working closely with key stakeholders and teams within ITS to stay informed about emerging technologies and trends, and advise the business on potential benefits and risks
  • Leading a team of two Business Partners, ensuring they are aligned with all areas of the business, measuring their effectiveness and encouraging continuous development
  • The primary National Business relationships will be with, Germany, Spain, France, Italy & NL

We are looking for

  • Proven experience as a Business Partner or Business Relationship Manager
  • Exceptional stakeholder, people and relationship management skills, able to influence and drive collaboration leading by example
  • Well organised with attention to detail whilst self-motivated and able to work on your own initiative.
  • Strong team leader, able to motivate and develop a new team.
  • Ability to be flexible with travel, UK and internationally is vital to this role. Travel between London & Bristol offices on a frequent basis will be key to success
  • Experience of working in a large multi business unit corporate organisation and centralised IT functions
  • Strong understanding of both business and IT processes
  • Excellent presentation, communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Proficiency in project management methodologies and tools
  • Ability to influence and negotiate with stakeholders at all levels
  • The ability to communicate complex problems in a non-technical and simplified manner
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to align IT initiatives with business
