Role Purpose:

We are looking for an experienced Commercial Finance Manager to work across multiple workstreams and support senior leaders across the wider business make data-driven decision making to maximise returns to Good Causes.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Support the Commercial Finance Manager with analysis and presentations to effectively communicate with stakeholders in the wider business.
  • Support Budgeting and Forecasting processes with detailed analysis and presentations to facilitate business decisions.
  • Leading financial modelling and P&L summary of business cases, working with business stakeholders to understand revenue and cost drivers and ensure accurately modelled and captured in the business case.
  • Support the Product team to understand performance, identify risks and opportunities and work alongside broader finance and analytics teams to offer solutions and opportunities for business growth.
  • Ownership of month end performance updates, including detailed analysis and commentary to communicate performance to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Be the lead on process improvement and streamlining across the Commercial Planning and Trading team.
  • Assist the Finance Graduate within the Commercial Planning and Trading team and support their development.
  • Deputise for Commercial Finance Manager, working alongside Senior team as and when required.
  • Assist with ad-hoc queries from Product, Channel and Marketing teams

Requirements
Key Skills and Experience:

  • Qualified accountant (ACCA, CIMA, ACA)
  • Highly numerate with the ability to analyse, model and interpret data, including large data sets.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and able to articulate financial information to non-finance stakeholders
  • Commercial awareness and ability to apply this to decision making and recommendations
  • Experience with SAP BPC preferred.
  • Experience in a similar Commercial Finance role preferred.
  • Advanced MS Excel skills (Lookups, Pivots, Data Visualisation) and data manipulation
  • Experience with BI tools an advantage
  • Self-starter with a keen attention to detail and independent thinking
