Your team: Technology, Strategy & Transformation - Technology Operating Model

Do you want to work with technology executives and business leaders alongside some of the most creative and strategic technologists in the industry? Do you think about business and enterprise value? Can you scope and design technology solutions that transform the digital enterprise and deliver customer and business improvements? From strategy articulation, process design to technology enablement, we work together to simplify the complex, solve problems at the intersection of technology and business,whilst bringing insights for our clients through our Tech Trends research. We help Tech Leaders to operate effectively and deliver digital services quickly and at scale, across the enterprise.

Working as part of a broader Technology Transformation offering, our team is responsible for four propositions that cover the end-to-end operating model:

• Business Enabling Technology Strategy: We advise CIOs, and the broader enterprise, helping them shape, define and launch the strategy to transform their organisations for the digital age.
• Technology & Cloud Operating Model Transformation: We design the end-to-end technology operating models to help clients leverage digital, data and cloud technologies and the roadmap to get there. From understanding the CIO's customers, products and services, through to the capabilities required and future talent needs
• Service & Products Effectiveness: We transform the 'back office' technology operations to enable the transition to product ways of working, next gen service management and DevOps.
• IT M&A: We provide full lifecycle support from IT due diligence, blueprint solution design and transformation strategy through to cutover and transition for Mergers, Divestments & Regulatory change. We orchestrate the technology change as part complex transactions to enable competitive advantage.

You have the ability to critically assess and interpret information, simplifying problems, and designing solutions that enable our clients' outcomes.

You will be able to demonstrate capability and experience in the following:

Essentials:

• Communicating effectively with technology and business stakeholders, successfully identifying key messages and challenges to build confidence and working relationships

• A strong understanding of the key concepts of Technology Operating Models - archetypes, capability model, etc., alongside a thorough understanding of the core components of a Technology organisation and how it runs.

• Working experience in some or all the following areas: Technology Strategy, Product & Cloud Operating Models, IT Service Management & ITIL, Technology Transformation programme design and implementation, IT M&A transactions, Agility.

• Demonstrating the ability to articulate the impact of trends such as AI, Robotics and Digital reality on today's organisations.

• A macro understanding of what IT and Digital within Business looks like and how it operates today

Desirables:

• Knowledge and experience of Data Operating Model - archetypes, components, design, governance, etc.

• Previous consulting industry experience

• Relevant certifications in one or more of ITIL, SAFe, Scrum, TOGAF, ServiceNow

• Working experience in some of the above concepts across multiple industries, and / or deep expertise in Financial Services or Public Sector.

Enterprise, Technology and Performance

Our clients want to achieve maximum value from digital transformation investments in Finance, Supply Chain and IT operations. That's where we come in. By taking a holistic view of performance improvement, including strategy, process design and technology enablement, we support the smooth operation of transformations.

We are subject to a number of audit regulations, one of which requires that certain colleagues abide by specific personal independence constraints (e.g., in relation to any financial interests and employment relationships). This can mean that you and your "Immediate Family Members" are not permitted to hold certain financial interests (shares, funds, bonds etc.) with audit clients of the firm, and also prohibitions on certain employment relationships (e.g., you are not permitted to hold a secondary employment role with SEC audit clients of the firm whilst being employed by the firm). Our hybrid working policy

You'll be based in London, Manchester, Bristol, Edinburgh or Glasgow with hybrid working.
