Job overview:

As a Senior Claims Insight Analyst, you'll be a key member of our Claims Cost Management, Insight, and Transformation team within AXA Health. Your role is to develop claims analysis that supports cost containment, spot changes in provider spend and utilisation, and enable data-led decisions that improve care and cost efficiency. You'll work closely with stakeholders across the business, providing insights that shape our strategies and improve customer outcomes.

Key responsibilities:

• Develop and refine claims analysis tools and reports to support our claims cost management strategy and identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Create and deliver claims intelligence that highlights market trends, risks, and areas for potential growth or improvement.
• Support clinical oversight by providing detailed claims data analysis that helps identify underperformance, risks, and opportunities in our health pathways.
• Assist in monitoring and evaluating initiatives within our Care & Claims Transformation Programme, suggesting course corrections when needed.
• Help develop new data products, models, and processes to boost our claims analytics capabilities.
• Provide strategic input and analytics support for large-scale projects and programmes, helping shape our plans.
• Build strong relationships with stakeholders across Pricing, Actuarial, Data, and Clinical teams to ensure insights are understood and actioned.
• Mentor junior analysts, sharing your expertise to grow our team's overall capability.

Work arrangements:

At AXA we work smart, empowering our people to balance their time between home and the office in a way that works best for them, their team and our customers. You'll work at least two days a week (40%) away from home, moving to three days a week (60%) in the future. Away from home means attending the office, visiting clients or attending industry events.

We know that some candidates may be discouraged from applying if they don't meet every requirement. If you're excited by this job and the prospect of working at AXA but you're not sure you tick every box, we'd still encourage you to apply.

Your skills & experience:

• Ability to present data insights effectively using Excel and Power BI.
• Knowledge of claims processing systems and data sources within insurance or healthcare.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to communicate complex insights clearly.
• Ability to operate within ambiguity and adapt to changing priorities.
• Commercial acumen and a good grasp of market developments affecting claims.
• Experience mentoring or supporting junior team members.
