Overview
To support our ambitious growth objectives, Crisis24 is looking for an experienced and highly motivated Senior Account Manager to drive account retention and growth across a portfolio of medical and security assistance clients.
The role forms part of our global sales function and sits within the UK and Northern Europe region, based from our London or Bournemouth office with a degree of remote working possible. The successful candidate will be required to assist driving top line revenue growth by retaining and growing their account portfolio and will play an active role in helping the business achieve its commercial objectives.
It is expected that the successful candidate will have a good understanding and experience of medical assistance/travel risk management. Our services can be complex so experience providing consultative based, solution sales would be preferable as would experience working in a SaaS sales environment.
Responsabilites
The role will include the following responsibilities:
- Owning and managing a portfolio of clients with a core focus on ensuring contract renewal whilst identifying opportunities to upsell additional products and services from Crisis24's full suite of solutions that include risk intelligence and tracking
- Managing all commercial aspects relating to each client, including preparing and proposing pricing, negotiation, MI, escalation
- Developing and extending our relationships and touchpoints within each client, helping increase Crisis24's profile throughout the accounts
- Cross-function working is critical as you will work closely with multiple teams (operations, legal, compliance, commercial, intelligence, product, claims)
- Identify and pursue new potential insurance clients utilising existing account contacts for referrals
- Develop a deep understanding and knowledge of Crisis24's client value proposition and the travel risk and medical assistance industry.
Required Skills and Experience
The ideal candidate will have the following:
- Industry experience within medical assistance/claims and/or insurance is preferable
- Proven experience of renewing business by developing account retention strategies and managing retention processes
- Understanding of the Lloyds insurance market and structure is preferable
- Commercially-focused with demonstrable success achieving revenue growth targets within a portfolio by upselling/cross-selling
- Comfortable presenting platform solutions
- Excellent relationship management skills in a B2B environment
- Experience using Salesforce to proactively manage and record client activity is essential
- Professional and credible and can develop relationships quickly
- Previous experience of managing and writing bids, responding to RFPs, and creating proposals.
Advantageous Experience
- Some knowledge of security and travel risk management would be desirable

Reporting and Place of Work
This role will report directly to the Sales Director, Northern Europe and be based in London or Bournemouth.
Remuneration
- Salary is dependent on experience but will be competitive
- Excellent package including OTC
- 25 days annual leave plus Bank Holidays recognised in England.
