Overview:
We are seeking a Sales & Events Manager to join the Sales Team of a bar & restaurant Group. The role involves proactively building relationships with businesses, responding to customer enquiries, creating event proposals, and collaborating with corporate event agencies. The ideal candidate should have 2 years of sales experience, a strong interest in events and nightlife, and proficiency in the Access Collins Booking System.
The Sales & Events Manager role allows you to experience different working environments from our London office, our amazing venues and a day working from home, this role is anything but boring.
Responsibilities:
- Proactively drive new and existing relationships with businesses in the area
- Managing and responding to incoming customer enquiries
- Responding to customer queries with excellent customer service skills
- Put together compelling event proposals for corporate clients
- Telephone and venue diary management
- Work closely with top corporate event agencies and 3rd party accounts.
- Work on proactive sales and upselling initiatives
- Build detailed function sheets and hand over client to ops on the day of high value events
- Client entertaining and hosting FAM trips
- Conduct venue site visits
- Follow up on potential sales leads
- Attend networking opportunities and industry exhibitions
- Work to pre-determined pre booked sales targets as set by the business
- Always act as an ambassador for the brands
Skills / Experience Required:
- A strong interest in events, restaurants and bars
- 2 years' sales experience, ideally hospitality sales.
- Experience working with Corporate Event Agency clients
- Highly motivated self-starter
- Proactive sales mentality
- Proficient experience with Access Collins Booking System.
- Experience working in hospitality. Ideally at least one year.
- Strong administration and IT skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
