Risk Manager

What is the opportunity?

Offering excellent exposure reporting directly across the Group Technology & Customer Solutions Risk & Compliance Team the successful role holder will be working in a proactive and supportive 1st line risk team.

Building strong working relationships, you will give sound and pragmatic risk management advice, directly contributing to the delivery of our core customer values.

You will be encouraged to work autonomously, supporting in day to day management of risks and challenging them to consider the impacts of decisions.

In this Role, you will

• Champion risk awareness and promote risk management as a core consideration of decision-making supporting the roll-out of the Risk Management Framework.
• Actively support teams to handle their risk profile, ensuring consistent identification, assessment, mitigation & reporting of risks and controls
• Advise in the formulation of robust actions to remediate risk issues or control deficiencies.
• Develop and maintain strong working relationships across Senior Management to positively influence the efficiency / effectiveness of the division's risk management agenda.
• Support the business unit operational teams to address significant trigger events.

What will make you stand out?

Proven risk management knowledge, skills and experience, with a minimum of 3 years' experience in internal controls, operational risk or assurance testing roles will make you stand out!

Experience with the designing and/or testing of controls with demonstrable experience in data analysis and report design/development.

Strong team building and partner management skills which enable you to establish rapport and credibility at all levels of the business.

Strong report writing skills coupled with analytical foresight and the ability to handle a broad and diverse data set.

Knowledge of Group Technology & Customer Solutions business units and processes, industry standards in operational and conduct risk management, e.g., Basel requirements and CPC, and familiarity with the RADAR tool will give you an advantage.

More about the team

The Divisional Business Risk Team ensures there is a consistent and aligned approach to risk management across the Division, from a first line perspective. This team is responsible for supporting, guiding, advising and coordinating the business units within Group Technology & Customer Solutions as they complete their responsibility for handling, monitoring and reporting of risk in their respective units.

This is a hybrid onsite role and can be done anywhere in the Republic of Ireland with the primary office location as Baggot Plaza. Travel will be required for in-person collaboration - exact frequency to be agreed with manager. . #LI-HYBRID #IJ-HYBRID
