The role...
We have had an exciting opportunity to recruit this brand new role on a 6 month fixed term basis (with an opportunity for a further extension) to join the Group Finance, Risk division reporting into the Group Head of Risk Integration and Innovation. The role will play an integral part of ITV's Business Simplification Programme (BSP) which will oversee a series of transformation initiatives to deliver our cost reduction targets. This role will be part of the Transformation Management Office during the programme phase to ensure there is a structured and consistent approach to identifying risks and assessing control activities / mitigation plans and interdependencies across the initiatives.
Some of your key day-to-day responsibilities will include:
- Develop and maintain a standardised method for identifying and assessing risks across all Charters.
- Evaluate Charters to determine their impact on principal risks
- Support the integration of risk and control practices within all Charters
- Collaborate with risk domain leads (e.g. privacy, compliance, cyber, finance, technology) as needed
- Analyse and compare mitigation plans across Charters
- Aggregate risks to identify areas of greatest exposure
- Maintain an overview of cumulative impact of all initiatives
- Prepare reports to provide management with an informed and prioritised view of top risks.
- Continuously monitor and update Charters for changes
Skills you'll need (minimum criteria)...
- A professional qualification in risk, accountancy (ACA, ACCA or equivalent) or similar
- Proven experience in risk management and controls is essential
Other things we're looking for (key criteria)...
- Previous experience working in a programme or project based environment is desirable
- The role requires a collaborative approach with a proactive 'can do' mindset to operate in ITV's global matrix organisation
- An enthusiastic self-starter with a strong work ethic and the ability to multitask, prioritise and follow through on multiple matters simultaneously.
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) to build and manage relationships with senior stakeholders across the business
- Ability to analyse complex information, attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem solving
