Description
As a Senior Operational Excellence Specialist, you'll play a key role across AXA Commercial to build and maintain a culture of continuous improvement, working with leaders, team leads and front line staff across the business to drive process efficiency improvements and deliver improved customer and broker experiences.
At AXA we work smart, empowering our people to balance their time between home and the office in a way that works best for them, their team and our customers. You'll work at least two days a week (40%) away from home, moving to three days a week (60%) in the future. Away from home means either attendance at one of our office locations, visiting clients or attending industry events.
What you'll be doing:
• Support AXA Commercial to identify, prioritise and deliver improvement activity to support the overall strategic direction through hands on delivery aligned to the Operational Excellence framework
• Work closely with stakeholders across AXA Commercial to create, deliver and maintain process improvement plans, providing regular updates and recommendations to all levels whilst following appropriate governance
• Use a methodical and data driven approach to quantify business problems, ensuring to track and measure benefits delivered and sustained through OpEx activity
• Coach and mentor operational teams across AXA Commercial to embed a culture of continuous improvement and solving together, through empowering individuals to improve their own processes within an agreed framework of change
• Work with a variety of stakeholders using OpEx techniques to review our end to end processes, identifying improvements to broker experience, reduced risk and creating more efficient ways of working through implementation of standard best practice and identifying opportunities for automation

What you'll bring:
• Demonstrable experience working in Op Ex/ continuous improvement roles
• Experiences in Lean/Six Sigma methodologies desirable
• Stakeholder management skills including ability to influence and manage conflicting objectives
• Strong analytical thinking and ability to constructively challenge current ways of working
• Able to identify, acquire, and manage resources to achieve agreed outcomes
• Comfortable with UK travel to work with stakeholders on an adhoc basis
