What is the opportunity?
As a Release Manager, you will support the ongoing success and transformation of the Corporate and Commercial Banking Factory (C&CB)!
You will co-ordinate and deliver multiple releases across our Corporate, Commercial and Markets IT systems. You will be a key support to the Head of C&CB.
In this role, you will:
- Manage the overall Release schedule for deployments from C&CB
- Engage with the Bank's Change Management Function and ensure that all Deployments follow rigorously the Path to Live process currently in place.
- Represent C&CB at all Change Management Forums and ensure the Release schedule in clearly understood by all Key Stakeholders in the Banks IT Operations area.
- Establish a network with External Vendors and IT Support teams to ensure visibility of all Deployments and where necessary resources are available to implement deployments.
- Identify and implement any improvements in the Release procedures as part of the Overall Release strategy.
- Actively participate in the Service Transition process from Change to Operation teams.

- Application and Technical knowledge of Corporate and Commercial Banking Technologies
- Proactive and flexible approach; ability to work effectively with multiple priorities in parallel
- Excellent relationship building and interpersonal skills, with strong customer focus
- Large scale delivery experience
Experience in the following is desirable, but not necessary to apply:
- Scrum / Kanban and SAFe delivery experience

Our Corporate & Commercial Banking Release teams sits within the Corporate & Commercial Banking Engineering and Delivery Factory and provides critical Engineering services to support the Bank's change programme of initiatives. The Corporate & Commercial Banking Engineering and Delivery factory operates a 'one team' culture delivering across Design, Engineering and Test. We operate across a diverse range of technology and business domains collaborating with other engineering functions, Enterprise Architecture and business customers.
