Internal Job Title: Business Boating Manager (Wales & Southwest)

Advertised Salary: £40,000 - £45,000 (depending on experience) + car cash allowance (£5,100 p.a.) + benefits

Location: Gloucester office based with regular travel across our Wales & Southwest network required for internal and external meetings.

We are currently looking for a Business Boating Manager ( Wales & Southwest ) . The role of Business Boating Manager is vital in the delivery of the best possible service to our business boating customers. These include hire and passenger boat operators, moorings and marina businesses, static businesses based on boats and roving traders. There are around 1100 business boating customers nationally and provide around £10 million in annual income from business licence fees, property rents and network access fees.

The role holder will effectively and efficiently manage, promote and develop business initiatives and property assets to contribute to the Trust's aims to increase the number of people using the waterways whilst protecting the integrity of the network.

Knowledge, Skills/Qualifications & Experience

A Business Boating Manager is responsible for acting as 'account manager' for all those customers in their allocated geographical area, working closely with the estate and technical managers in the team. This involves providing information to new applicants, assessing new applications and identifying what they require from the Trust in order to set up their business in line with our published terms and conditions in a sustainable way.
