OUTCO Regional Account Manager Vacancy.

The purpose of this key position is to grow our business, by focussing on client retention, and identifying and successfully acquiring new business opportunities. The position requires an experienced and talented account management with excellent commercial instincts and exceptional client relationship management skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute regional sales plans to meet or exceed revenue targets.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients to ensure retention and upsell opportunitie
  • Delivering KPI's and key customer satisfaction scores by ensuring customers' requirements are achieve
  • Working closely with everyone within the Account Management and sales team with regards to retention planning for all accounts under your remit
  • Playing an active role in the client retention programme for each division service line and across them all.
  • Being the first point of contact for own Account escalations, and problem resolution.
  • Visiting and speaking with clients and undertaking site visits to existing and new clients, which may require frequent travel within the UK.
  • Assisting clients in reviewing their contracts and providing information and advice.
  • Managing discussions with them about their future strategy and explaining price rises and new services.
  • Ensuring that sales discussions are closed appropriately using our contracting process and within our Terms & Conditions.
  • Providing accurate reports and documentation to enable informed decision-making and financial control to be able to measure success.
  • Meeting KPI's and agreed sales targets.
  • To quickly grasp and understand the sales procedure including all aspects of the market we operate in and to absorb a full understanding of our services and how they are delivered.
  • Canvassing leads, performing telesales calls, and forging relationships and inroads with key decision makers to be able to create new business opportunities.
  • Setting up and arranging appointments with existing and new clients.
  • Preparing customer proposals/ quotes using a bespoke CRM system and answering any client queries as appropriate.
  • Regularly liaising with individuals at all levels and being confident at selling into both public and private sectors
  • Keeping up to date about key company performance stats and future plans, personnel etc.
  • Attending ad -hoc meetings with clients and OUTCO teams as necessary.

The role may require additional duties to be performed outside of the day-to-day role to ensure the efficient running of the department or business area.

Person Specification:

  • GM/Winter industry knowledge is essential
  • Has relevant B2B sales experience within a similar sales / account management / business development role, along with a thorough understanding of the principles of sales and relationship building.
  • Has previous sales experience in winning and securing large contracts or in delivering to the Facilities Management or Property Management market - this would be highly advantageous.
  • Has the ability to sell contracts in a seasonal business within a challenging budget restricted environment.
  • Can demonstrate in-depth experience of working with a varied and demanding client base and be able to deal confidently with staff at all levels.
  • Has relevant experience and a good understanding of the property & facilities management environment or NHS/ public sector markets and be able to determine accurately potential sales/ business development opportunities.
  • Can demonstrate exemplary client relationship management skills, possessing proven relationship building skills and be responsive to customers' requests.
  • Has the ability to deliver results, with a proven track record of delivering or exceeding previous sales targets, growing a business whilst being continually attuned to clients' needs and industry developments.
  • Good IT skills, confident user of CRM systems, MS Office and able to use web based systems.
  • Can demonstrate success in improved service delivery and customer satisfaction.
