Account Director - Primary Care

Role Introduction

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Account Director to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and nurturing relationships with Integrated Care Boards (ICBs) and Primary Care Networks (PCNs). This role requires a strategic thinker with a deep understanding of the primary care landscape and a proven track record in account management.

What You Will Do

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with ICBs and PCNs to drive product adoption and customer satisfaction.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for key accounts, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded.
  • Promote and support the use of Docman, Patches, and GP Workflow Assistant within primary care settings.
  • Identify opportunities for growth and expansion within existing accounts.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless implementation and support of our products.
  • Provide regular updates and reports on account status, challenges, and opportunities.
  • Forecast sales and revenue for key accounts, ensuring accuracy and alignment with company goals.
  • Monitor and analyse account performance data to ensure accuracy and identify areas for improvement.
  • Stay informed about industry trends and changes in the primary care sector.

What You Will Have

  • Account Directors will have strong negotiation and closing skills
  • A proven track-record of success in B2B new business sales within a complex client portfolio
  • Effective communication and time management skills
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in account management, preferably within the healthcare or primary care sector.
  • Strong understanding of the primary care landscape, including ICBs and PCNs.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple accounts and projects simultaneously.
  • Strategic thinker with a results-oriented mindset.
  • Proficiency in using Salesforce and other relevant tools.
  • Experience with sales forecasting and data analysis.
