Do you like being next to nature? Do you have basic DIY skills? Do you have a couple of hours a week to spare?
We need a pair of volunteers to survey our stretches of the Shropshire Union and Staffordshire and Worcestershire canals (Aldersley and Oxley areas) looking for old British Waterways and swan logoed Canal and River Trust signs, logging their whereabouts using a supplied iPad.
Then, with tools and training provided, these signs will be removed and replaced with new Canal and River Trust signs, reassuring canal users that the waterways are managed by us and maintained on a regular basis.
Volunteers must be over 18 years of age.
Why we want you

You'll be assisting our visitor experience at some of our most beautiful sites, as well as possibly working in our more remote and niche environments, learning more about our waterways.
