Job overview:
Within AXA Global Healthcare, our Transformation department is at the heart of our ambitious journey to innovate and improve the way we serve our customers. With a dedicated team of professionals committed to delivering impactful projects, we focus on shaping a future where digital advancements and operational excellence go hand in hand. As a Project Manager, you'll play a pivotal role in steering projects from inception through to completion. You'll work closely with stakeholders across the organisation and external partners, applying your expertise to drive successful outcomes and support our ongoing transformation journey.
Key responsibilities:
• Manage the end-to-end delivery of assigned projects, ensuring scope, budget, and quality targets are met.
• Collaborate with colleagues and stakeholders to initiate, plan, and mobilise projects effectively.
• Develop and motivate project teams, fostering a culture of success and accountability.
• Apply and oversee project management frameworks, ensuring governance and controls are strictly adhered to.
• Identify, communicate, and manage project risks, issues, dependencies, and assumptions.
• Produce high-quality project documentation, reports, and updates for internal and external stakeholders.
• Manage project budgets, monitor spend, and ensure financial targets are achieved.
• Liaise with external partners and stakeholders to ensure seamless project delivery and stakeholder engagement.
Work arrangements:
At AXA we work smart, empowering our people to balance their time between home and the office in a way that works best for them, their team and our customers. You'll work at least two days a week (40%) away from home, moving to three days a week (60%) in the future. Away from home means attending the office, visiting clients or attending industry events.
Your skills & experience:
• Previous project management experience with a proven track record of delivering complex projects.
• Relevant professional project management qualification (e.g., PMI, PRINCE2).
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to influence at all levels.
• Experience with both Waterfall and Agile project methodologies.
• Excellent organisational and planning skills, with a keen eye for detail.
• Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively within cross-functional teams.
• Previous experience working in a regulated industry e.g. Insurance, Financial Services, Banking
