The team
ITV Creative is the in-house agency servicing ITV to promote its own content. We deliver 1,000s of campaigns every year spanning multiple media touchpoints, including CRM, performance marketing and social.
ITV is no longer just a broadcaster, but a streaming platform to rival the likes of Netflix, Amazon and BBC iPlayer. In order to deliver against our ambitions for ITVX, we're shifting our focus in marketing to be more viewer led vs content led.
The production team is instrumental in delivering content to all platforms across the full marketing funnel. Our aim is to be the best in-house production team in the business. Driving efficiencies and always pushing for more be that in seeking out the best talent, 3rd party partners and creating exciting and innovative 360 content across all our platforms on budget, on time and strengthening ITV Creative's profile within the business and the industry.
The role
The role of the Production Manager (multi- skilled) is to support the ITV Creative team in creating and helping to produce multi-platform campaigns across the portfolio of ITV channels. Experience working on integrated multi platform campaigns and knowledge of all platforms is essential with a proven clear understanding of full funnel multi platform media plans.
As the Production Manager you will work alongside the Executive Producer on integrated campaigns across a broad range of media including Linear, OOH, Print, Radio, Social platforms and Digital, for ITV Marketing and Commercial campaigns.
You will have experience working on large campaigns with multiple deliverables in pressured situations and be able to respond calmly and professionally when dealing with internal and external stakeholders. A passion and knowledge in media is a must. ITV Creative is always evolving in terms of content, delivery, formats and processes and the Production Manager needs to be flexible, agile and willing to learn new skills and techniques in an ever evolving industry.
You will possess the skills to manage timelines, production budgets and manage the process from end to end, delivering to multiple media owners. You will liaise with many areas of ITV and external agencies and suppliers, ensuring every asset is delivered accurately.
Responsibilities:
- Handling production for film shoots, stills shoots,managing budgets and liaising with studios, crews, caterers and ordering kit, paperwork and call sheets
- Producing accurate documents for creative presentations, PPMs
- Sourcing the best talent across film crews, photography, illustration, digital/social design and art direction
- Clear understanding of all post production processes for owned and paid media with post production houses, Retouchers and external production partners
- Sourcing imagery and content from within ITV and 3rd parties
- Managing campaign budgets; reconciliation; raising contracts; purchase ordering & invoicing
- Working alongside the Executive Producer, you will have a good understanding of the creative vision and strategy for the output they are working on so they can support the ECD, CD, Creatives and Designers.
- Liaising with ITV's Media Agency to ensure delivery of assets across the full media plan, sourcing relevant specs, questioning details and ensuring accurate delivery of all assets across complex media plans
- Managing production folders and assets, ensuring regular archiving of supporting documents eg contracts, usage agreements etc
- Working as part of the wider Production and Operations team, aligning with agreed workflows and best practice, ensuring knowledge sharing and collaborative working and always look for efficiencies across all processes
- Supporting and covering other production roles as required
Skills you'll need (minimum criteria)
- Experience of delivering multi-platform campaign deliverables across the full marketing funnel
- Experience in managing Photography/ digital shoots and managing budgets
- Ability to manage day to day resource and timings for the delivery of multi-platform campaigns
- Knowledge of files, applications and different digital formats
- Understand the process from initial briefing to final delivery
- Ability to reconcile budgets to timely conclusion in a professional and thorough manner
- Ability to negotiate with internal and external companies
- Ability to work under pressure in a calm and friendly and professional manner & prioritise workload
- Flexible and passionate about your work, with a willingness to learn and develop
- To have a proven knowledge, understanding and application of all relevant H&S legislation, guidelines, policies, practices and Codes of Practice
