Product Owner

What is the opportunity?

The successful candidate will be the Product Owner responsible for delivering the direction and priorities for the platform, promoting outstanding customer and user experience, and support growth in customer value and innovation within Home Buying Transformation.

This individual will be responsible for bringing expertise in identifying digital opportunities within our customer/user base, across our channels, our 3rd party partners and customer segments.

This is a high visibility role within Home Buying Transformation and a great opportunity to make a difference to our customers and users. It is a front facing role with lots of exposure to key business divisions and senior stakeholders.

In this role, you will:

  • Support and deliver the vision for the platform, develop the goals and promote progress to all the channel teams within Home Buying. Represent the platform at key governance forum.
  • Set internal Objectives and Key Results (OKRs) for the platform to measure success, and be accountable for the delivery of those.
  • Handle and prioritise the product backlog in collaboration with the delivery lead so it aligns to the HBT strategic roadmap.
  • Collaborate with the other product owners so that backlogs are aligned to deliver end to end journey improvements.
  • Be responsible for all stages of product creation including design and development to protect product quality and customer/user centricity.

What will make you stand out?

  • 2 years minimum experience working as a Product Owner in a Scrum team.
  • Act as a collaborative leader, be a strong communicator who is capable of selling the outcomes from the team into the wider Home Buying organisation.
  • Experience in Agile Delivery methods and ideally a certified Product Owner.
  • Ability to go deep with engineering when required but understand that your real value is your eye for business, being creative, show strategic thinking and precisely-informed perspectives.

This is a hybrid role and can be done anywhere in the Republic of Ireland with the primary office location as Dublin. Travel will be required for in-person collaboration - exact frequency to be agreed with manager.
