Job overview:

At AXA, we're seeking Product Managers committed to delivering exceptional claims experiences and robust fraud prevention strategies that protect our customers and our business

As a Claims Product Manager, you'll lead the end-to-end strategy, development and delivery of claims handling solutions, focusing on operational excellence, automation and customer satisfaction. Working closely with claims teams, technical partners and stakeholders, you'll contribute to the development of data-driven products and digital innovations that support AXA's broader transformation goals.

As the Fraud Product Manager, you'll design and oversee sophisticated fraud detection and prevention tools, collaborating relevant teams to mitigate various types of insurance fraud. Your role will involve leveraging external data sources, developing predictive models and ensuring compliance with relevant laws, all aimed at reducing fraud risks and safeguarding the integrity of AXA's insurance operations.

Key responsibilities:

• Develop and communicate a compelling product vision and strategy aligned with business goals, customer needs, regulatory standards and strategic priorities across claims and fraud prevention initiatives.
• Lead discovery efforts by analysing workflows, engaging with claims, underwriting, legal and data teams to identify automation, process improvements and fraud mitigation opportunities.
• Oversee product roadmaps from inception through delivery, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and managing dependencies across multiple squads and stakeholders.
• Shape demand, develop investment cases and prioritise initiatives based on impact, ROI and risk, acting as a key decision-maker on scope and trade-offs.
• Partner with technical teams, including Guidewire and data science units, to ensure products are scalable, secure, user-centric and compliant with relevant laws (e.g., GDPR).
• Lead, mentor and coordinate cross-functional squads and Product Owners, fostering a collaborative environment focused on continuous value delivery and stakeholder engagement.
• Monitor KPIs, success metrics and adoption rates to evaluate impact, drive improvements and demonstrate value, while managing risks and dependencies.
• Drive initiatives to improve operational efficiency, customer experience and fraud risk management through automation, process redesign, and digital transformation.

Work arrangements:

At AXA we work smart, empowering our people to balance their time between home and the office in a way that works best for them, their team and our customers. You'll work at least two days a week (40%) away from home, moving to three days a week (60%) from December 2026. Away from home means attending the office, visiting clients or attending industry events.

Your skills & experience:

• Experience managing insurance claims platforms, fraud detection tools, or related products, with expertise in Guidewire or similar systems, including configuration, automation and digital capabilities.
• Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage and influence senior leadership, cross-functional teams and external partners effectively.
• Demonstrated success in leading discovery efforts through workflow analysis, data-driven insights, and operational research to uncover opportunities for innovation.
• Strategic thinker with a solid understanding of claims operations, fraud mitigation, risk management and their impact on business performance.
• Experience in agile practices, customer-centric design and delivering iterative value at scale within regulated environments.
• Effective communicator and influencer, capable of translating complex technical and operational concepts into clear strategies and driving organisational change.
• Knowledge of compliance standards (e.g., GDPR, financial regulations) and experience ensuring products adhere to legal and ethical standards.

As a precondition of employment for this role, you must be eligible and authorised to work in the United Kingdom.
