This is an opportunity to take a leading role in product & pricing initiatives and shape the design of those initiatives. We are looking for someone who is hard-working, committed and delivery-focused in order to deliver our ambitious objectives. There is an opportunity to collaborate across the business to ensure product & pricing strategy is aligned to the overall business strategy and plans.
In this role you will:
- Work with a range of senior partners across the business including Operations, Distribution, Legal, Marketing and Customer Service.
- Take a lead role on medium to large scale projects within the team, including the design and specification of new products and improvements to existing products.
- Contribute towards the overall Product & Pricing strategy as well playing a key role in achieving sales, income and retention targets for the business.
- Keep up to date with relevant industry changes and other products in the market.

Experience with any of the following will help you to stand out but is not necessary in order to apply for this role;
- Experience of product pricing, product development and project management would be advantageous.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Have the ability to demonstrate a detailed knowledge of the life & pensions business in Ireland.
- Experience of giving presentations and communicating to different audiences.
- Strong customer focus along with excellent interpersonal skills.
- A high level of accuracy & attention to detail.
- Demonstrated ability in problem solving and leading multiple tasks.
Essential Qualifications
Actuary Qualification with proven relevant experience.

The W&I business comprises of three key parts - New Ireland Assurance, Bank of Ireland Insurance Services and Bank of Ireland Investment Markets. The W&I business distributes savings, investment, protection and insurance products to our end customers through multiple channels, including Bank of Ireland, New Ireland Financial Advisors, third party brokers and selected corporate partnerships.
The role will be in the Product and Pricing team. This team works across the entire product suite, and on all sales channels.
This is a hybrid role and can be done anywhere in the Republic of Ireland with the primary office location as Dublin. Travel will be required for in person collaboration exact frequency to be agreed with manager.
