Procurement Analyst - 3 Month FTC

We have a 3 month fixed term contract opportunity for an IT Procurement Analyst to join our growing IT department.

This role will play a crucial part in managing mobile data and telephony contracts, software and hardware asset management, and supporting the strategic management of technology-related hardware within the organisation.

The role will be based in our Bristol office offering hybrid working.

The role

The IT Procurement Analyst will be a key member of the IT Department, promoting collaboration, team working, and innovation. This role will involve conducting audits, managing renewals, and providing procurement analysis and reporting.

Other key responsibilities include:

Mobile Phone Connection Audits: Conduct monthly audits of mobile phone connections, monitor and report on usage and data usage overspend.

Software Usage Audits: Perform regular audits of software usage across the organisation, identify underutilised software licences, and recommend cost-saving measures.

Software Renewal Comparisons: Compare software renewal options to ensure cost-effectiveness, proactively manage renewals to avoid last-minute decisions and ensure continuity.

Microsoft E5 Audit: Conduct comprehensive audits of Microsoft E5 licences, ensure compliance and optimal usage of Microsoft E5 features.

Mobile Phone Refresh: Profile and refresh mobile phones as needed, ensuring that devices meet the needs of the users and the organisation.

Accord Reporting on Upcoming Renewals: Generate reports on upcoming renewals using Accord, provide insights and recommendations based on the data.

Service Description Audits/Reviews: Conduct audits and reviews of service descriptions, ensuring that services provided align with contractual agreements and organisational needs.

We are looking for

  • Strong customer service ethic and demonstrable customer service skills, committed to delivering an exceptional standard of service.
  • Strong team player committed to assisting colleagues wherever necessary to maximise the effectiveness of the entire IT department.
  • Attention to detail is key for this individual and the role they undertake, ensuring processes are in place to maintain excellent levels of consistency and attention to detail.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and provide actionable insights.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
  • Experience with procurement processes and vendor management.
  • Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Able to work autonomously and to schedule own resource appropriately.
  • Excellent organisation ability.
  • Has a proactive outlook and an ability to deliver.
