Shield Veterinary Centre is seeking a dedicated Practice Manager to join our friendly and dynamic first opinion small animal practice in Southampton, Hampshire.
About the Role
This is a fantastic opportunity to work closely with our Clinical Director in leading a committed team. You'll play a vital role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day operations of the practice and enhancing our client experience. This is a part time position of 30 hours of work per week, ideally working 3 1/2 days, however a 4-day week can also be considered and the days can be tailored.
Your Day-to-Day Responsibilities Will Include:
* Payroll
* Dayforce scheduling
* Building management
* General knowledge of P&Ls and debt management - while P&L and debt management are already well-managed, your support in these areas may be required, though you will not be heading them.
* Ensuring health and safety compliance with team support.
* Line management duties (this is negotiable, however you will be expected to support in meetings).
About Shield Veterinary Centre
Shield Veterinary Centre is a 2 branch practice situated between Portsmouth and Southampton. This position will be mainly based at our Bishops Waltham branch. We feel we are very lucky with our location as we are both close to the coast and the New Forest, but also have easy access on the train to London.
